[INTRO]
so I've been drawing since 2nd grade, at that time I of course only drew squary characters, I drew this never-ending comics and u could c how I progressed as I realized how my "powers" work. I also bought some books about how to draw comics and some cartoon drawing. some of the basics were "write before drawing the bubble" and "practice makes the difference"..
later on I moved to a new school and met this guy who was an amazing drawer and when I got to sit next to him I learned so much stuff like the importance of shadings and as time passed I've improved more and more.
at a certain point I left the art world, not completely, but nearly. It took me a while, but it came to me later on that u gotta do what u love, no matter what it is, and I loved drawing so I neutrally returned to it.
[ANATOMY]
I've decided I need to improve, so I started learning different drawing techniques, until last year I read about anatomy in some blog. I looked at some of the pro drawings by the real comics artists and compared them to let's say
n-de.deviantart.com/art/Fighte… which is nice and all.. but not very impressive as my most recent drawing
n-de.deviantart.com/art/dude-1… or
j-scott-campbell.deviantart.co… by a real comics artist!
so what did I do to get from the drawing A to drawing B? well, I've started learning each muscle: how it work, where it's located, how it looks with the other muscles etc.. There's plenty of images on google, all u gotta do is type "human anatomy". There r also some useful tutorials right here on dA
www.deviantart.com/#catpath=re… my next steps r: learning the stomach area, legs, improving faces, female features, cars / machines, monsters and.. um.. we'll c!
so I hope this is kinda useful.. and.. um.. I'm working on new comics called "pieces" and hopefully it will be up very soon {I've already written 5 episodes!!}
